Logo designed by Cameron Daly, the 10-year old Hobokenite who, raises money for local charities by requesting a minimal donation for his custom, hand-drawn personal or business logos. We were so inspired by Cameron's drive to utilize his artistic skills to do good for others, that we went ahead and created custom made face masks featuring his logo design, which we will raffle off during the opening night. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Boys + Girls Clubs of Hudson County.

MEET THE ARTISTS

Alexandra Alvarez was born in Edo. Miranda, Venezuela in the year 1983. The chaos from the city and the harmony from the beaches definitely influenced her artistic work. After finishing high school, she decided to study illustration at the Design Institute of Caracas, (2001-2005). During those three years of studies, she confirmed that art is her passion. At the end of her studies she moved to the city of Porlamar, in Margarita Island where she formally began her artistic career.

While working as a Graphic Designer, she participated in different art collectives, exhibitions and various international events. Her participation in the Second Latin American design meeting in Argentina, and her becoming a finalist of the Grafik T-shirt contest in Barcelona, Spain both helped her to stand out. In 2015 she left everything behind in her native land to come and live in New York, USA. She was filled with the desire to learn a second language and was moved by her passion for art. After a long transition and adaptation, she resides in Jersey City, NJ pursuing her art career.

Kayt Hester

creates intricate silhouettes with shreds of hand torn black masking tape that capture the beauty in the everyday mundane. Discovered by a gallery owner way back when the Jersey City art scene was not as (seemingly) flourished as it is today, Kayt has since gone on to be featured in both Nylon and Bust Magazine as well as awarded several solo exhibitions all throughout Jersey City and New York City. This will be Kayt's second feature at PRIME Gallery. Currently she lives and works in Jersey City, New Jersey. This particular piece was a collaboration with Abstract Artist, CP Harrick.

is a Union City based Artist who likes to explore a variety of mediums including painting, photography, digital art, and sculpture. Whatever her medium, Nicole loves to play with whimsical subjects, and juxtapose the idea of chaos and order in her artwork.

Nicole’s work is often motivated by her mental obsessions and fear of her own mortality. Past plagues and practices were a focal point in recent pieces, which were directly influenced by the 2020 pandemic. Combined with her interest in headgear, hats, and headdresses, she evoked the plague doctors of the past and captured an eerie dystopian world with her use of color.

draws upon a lifetime fascination with 50's and 60's pop culture. His subjects are mostly of the female figure, traced back to the traditions of pin-up illustration. His work captures the striking resemblance of the local models he employs giving them a realness over that of the over stylized women you may find in those golden age comic books of yesteryear. As a foremost contemporary pop artist of the Hudson County area, Robert Piersanti’s artwork is resonating with collectors—evoking a classic sense of modern mixed with a playful retro edge making his pop art paintings undeniably his own. His work has been in the New Yorkermagazine and Entertainment Weekly. More recently, Robert’s work has evolved into a decade of pop art which has been featured at 58 Gallery, CBGBs, and Parlor Gallery to name a few.
